There's Billy Mac's barbeque downtown on Wednesdays! (Editor's Note: As of Jan. 15, 2008, Atomic Dog has closed.)
Stop by the Atomic Dog restaurant on the first floor of the "old" First National Bank building at 1620 Dodge Street on Wednesday from 11 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. and enjoy barbeque from Billy Mac's BBQ.
The set menu features ribs and/or brisket, and Bill McKenna's famous Badwich, in smoked turkey or pork loin. You can also enjoy a smoked chicken Cobb salad. He also offers baked beans, red slaw, chips, and homemade chocolate chip cookies. All items are available for dine-in or carryout.
You can also enjoy Billy Mac's BBQ at their original location at 5010 S. 108 Street. Hours at that location are Tuesday-Thursday, 11 a.m. to 8 p.m., Friday and Saturday from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m., and Sundays from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. (Closed Mondays.)
Note: Billy Mac's BBQ will not be available downtown on Wednesday, Dec. 26 due to the Christmas holiday.
