We're just a week away from the Fourth Annual Axtell SmokeEaters BBQ Contest in Axtell, Kansas, on Aug. 8-9. The event, sponsored by the Axtell Volunteer Fire Department, is a KCBS Sanctioned State Championship Event.

Categories include ribs, chicken, pork, beef brisket, and beans. The entry form is available online. The early registration deadline has passed -- but you can still register for just $175 per team!

Fourth Annual Axtell SmokeEaters BBQ Contest

The KCBS-sanctioned Fourth Annual Axtell SmokeEaters BBQ Contest will be held on Aug. 8-9, 2008 in Axtell, Kansas. Sponsored by the Axtell Volunteer Fire Department, the Grand Champion will take home $500.
